The edition of romance novels Harlequin are full of emotions, bursting from the pages. Despite all wrongs, difficulties and obstructions they always conclude with a happyending.
I bought several of these novels and let one gender outweigh the other one. Women disappeared from the front pages and were replaced by men, female names turned into male ones. However, happyendings remained!
